Lohri Invitation Words

Flexible visualization

love Readers,
I think a flexible visualization?

A medium-sized manufacturer of modern packaging machines wanted to offer its customers an additional engine - make tasty - a buffer. I he ndem the right moment saved products or outputs, the buffer ensures that can lose production further - although just a part of the composite machine is stationary.

Screenshot: comparison of the efficiency with buffer (above) and without buffer (below)

savings, depending on the customers very differently under . Therefore we have designed for the machine manufacturer a visualization that can be used with real machine data 'fed' easy. The Visualization automatically adjusts to this new information. Now get the K accurate comparison of its current road machines and the simulated state buffer unde.

The marketing department of the mechanical engineer was aware of a very stylized representation of machine. The impression, however, no limits. Just think of a 3-dimensional representation with a moving camera ... There

This video is available in high resolution on my website: DEFSHOT.de

Houdini - the center of my 3D work

Dear Reader,

Houdini goes much further than in many other applications for 3D animation and follows an entirely different approach.

one hand, it is used worldwide for many years in large studios for outstanding visual effects. There's always been one of the great strengths of the program: New FX for Blockbuster Productions. Houdini was perceived so long as a pure niche product.

On the other hand Houdini is in the other areas now so strong that it lends itself to all applications. Both small and large teams not only benefit from its technical possibilities, but also by its procedural workflow .

This particular workflow allows a flexibility that is unparalleled. No other software has been as enthusiastic as me Houdini . If the technical development and the great support of SideFX remain in such good shape, it will also soon change that.

interested I can recommend visiting the manufacturer's website only. On SideFX . com there are not only stunning example of movies, but also the possibility of a nearly full version of the software to download. Although only for non-commercial use, but completely free.

Houdini is now the rotation - focal point of my work in 3D animation. This does not mean that I do not also use other tools that are necessary. But I have a feeling it will in future be less and less.

Kind regards, Marc
Schmitt
